About the artist

Benoit Robert-Event10

is an artist and graphic designer (Art Director), Benoit Robert. Nonconformist, he tries to break with the stylistic effect, the perishable one, while always progressing with the idea of the non-established.
Working with intuition and impulse, he conceives the communication and the visual identity of brands and various projects, in the sectors of the music, the fashion, the contemporary art and other institutions.

Event10 built their reputation by investing in the music world electronic, experimental coming directly from the Parisian scene. Attracted by the intervention direct on the subject and the DIY, and more than graphic designers, they mount their projects around matter, photography, video, as a true work of art. So they contributed with CD-rs pockets launched by the independent event label with different pockets: "Christmas Album" (2000), O.lamm "O.Lamm sings Fugain", My Jazzy Child "MJC lies!", then they impose themselves stylistically (collage, visual decoupage) with the release of the album of KingQ4 (Clapping Music)

Label Dalbin, Paris

Label Dalbin established in Paris in 2003 by Eric Dalbin, soon joined by Laurent Baylet, develops hybrid projects.

Label Dalbin produces videos, installations and performances at the interface between music and the visual arts for cultural institutions and private collections. What is original about this approach lies in the very nature of the collaboration here between visual artists and composers, who join forces to form a tightly-knit team that meets and discusses, writes, composes and records an original work together. This unity of time, place and action allows for the exploration of a new musical-visual idiom that blurs conventional boundaries between the genres, for the only thing that really counts is the creative process itself. The meaning of each work, in other words, lies in a meeting of minds between the artists: a shared experience that is uniquely and intimately theirs and has the power to profoundly alter each artist’s approach. Co-creation is the work.
